2 Days/ 1 Night - Te Harinui - Catered

For a true taste of the Abel Tasman National Park, spend 2 days and 1 night on board luxury catamaran Te Harinui, where the trip is customised to suit you. Fully catered for all meals, for 4 to 8 guests. Te Harinui has four master queen cabins, each with their own ensuite bathroom.  Full use of yacht’s inventory including sit-on kayaks, fishing & snorkelling gear, dinghy etc. 

Opportunities for sailing, fishing, swimming, beach strolling, walking coastal track, kayaking, viewing NZ fur seals, marine and birdlife. Explore shallow lagoons, islands, golden beaches and bays. Those walking the track can be dropped in one bay and picked up in another.  Be active or sit back and relax.  No sailing experience necessary. 

Your Skipper with excellent local knowledge is your personal guide and host. Stay on board overnight on anchor in secluded bays. Enjoy the stillness of sunrise and sunsets and the quiet of The Park when the day trippers have departed.

Depart Kaiteriteri Beach  Day 1 at 10.00 am, Return Kaiteriteri Beach  Day 2 at 4.30 pm

Here is a two day, one night sample itinerary to get you started:

Day 1

Depart Kaiteriteri, cruise past Split Apple Rock, Adele & Fisherman Islands.
Lunch onboard in a quiet bay.
Walk Torrent Bay to Bark Bay.
View the antics of NZ fur seals.
Overnight at Bark Bay or sail to Anchorage Bay and stay onboard.

Day 2

Sail to Tonga Island.
Kayak or dinghy into Shag Harbour.
Cruise the coastline viewing Cathedral Rocks, stopping to explore beaches and bays.
Listen to the Adele Island birdsong.
Catch the afternoon sea breeze back to Kaiteriteri.

Price Te Harinui Stay: $1,330 per person (up to 5 people). Additional people (6 or more) $630 per person
