Join others for a spectacular night, staying on board your large comfortable sailing catamaran, toasting to the sunset from the best location in the Abel Tasman National Park.

Set sail, departing Kaiteriteri beach at 5pm, sailing the coastline to Adele Island, passing the iconic Split Apple Rock and Fisherman's Island on your journey.  Anchor in the lee of the island where you are welcome to go ashore. 

Dinner will be served on board, locally sourced and prepared by your skipper. A great chance to relax and take in the serene surroundings as the sun sets.

Adele island is predatory free, providing a great chance to witness the dawn chorus birdsong as you wake the following morning. Following breakfast, your return journey provides a peaceful encounter of National Park before the day is open to others. Arrive to Kaiteriteri beach at 9am the next morning where you depart the yacht. 

Cabins are private doubles or twin share, with private or share bathroom.  Suitable for 2 to 8 guests. During your stay you will have full use of yacht’s inventory including sit on kayak, stand up paddle board, fishing equipment, snorkeling gear and dinghy.

Boat journey, dinner, night on board and breakfast all included - $250 per person (min. 2 person).

An alternative to your 9am return, only available upon prior arrangement (separate booking required), your skipper can transfer you ashore to the Abel Tasman National Park mainland, providing a chance to walk one of New Zealand's Great Walk's. Your day's options may include:

  • Walk Observation Beach to Marahau, transfers from Marahau to Kaiteriteri can be arranged.
  • Walk Observation Beach to Anchorage, catch your pre-arranged water taxi to Kaiteriteri Beach
  • Walk Observation Beach to Anchorage, meet our day sailing catamaran and sail the coastline back to Kaiteriteri Beach.
This overnight trip is subject to minimum numbers and availability. Sailing within the Abel Tasman National Park only during the summer season (December to April). During winter months a similar overnight tour can be arranged within the Nelson Harbor, boulder bank and light house visit.
